Measuring and choosing the door
A good installation starts with accurate measurements — the opening width and height, the headroom above the opening, the side room for the tracks, and the backroom into the garage. Those dimensions determine which door and hardware fit. From there you choose the material and style: insulated or non-insulated steel, the panel design, window options, and color. We help you match the door to your home and budget, and we quote the full installed price up front, per door, with no vague ranges.
Installation day
Most single-door installs are done in a few hours. We remove the old door and hardware, install the new tracks, sections, springs, and cables, and mount or reconnect the opener, then fine-tune the balance and the opener’s travel and force settings. We test the safety reverse and photo eyes, run the door through several cycles, and clean up the old material. You end the day with a door that is quiet, balanced, and properly safety-tested.
After the install
A new door needs very little in its first years beyond occasional lubrication and a yearly balance check to keep the springs and opener happy. We go over the basic maintenance with you and leave you the details on the door and opener. Because the springs are new, you have years before they need attention, and the modern hardware runs quieter and smoother than an old door ever did. If anything needs adjusting after break-in, we are a phone call away.
